Having a successful and abundant growing season lends to the hope of preparing for the next season.
Saving your seeds from your veggies, fruit and herbs can be so rewarding. The process for most seeds
is to rinse the seeds off well and let them dry completely.
Put them in an envelope and mark the date and also what the seed is. We store our seeds in a
glass jar with a tight lid in the freezer. This has extended some of our seeds for several growing seasons successfully. Be sure they are heirloom seeds or they may not grow a second year.
When you take the jar out in the spring, be sure to let it get to room temp before opening the lid. Otherwise, your seeds will be damp and may mold.
